My Cinema 4D Journey so far…

Hello everyone!  I want to share what I’ve been up to lately and show off some new art.

I’ve been self-teaching myself new software through YouTube tutorials and trial-and-error, but I wasn’t completely satisfied with my progress.  I’d often finish a project and have no idea what to tackle next or how to close the gaps in my knowledge.  I knew I would be most successful in a classroom environment, but the price always drove me away.

Determined to find something that fit my budget and needs, I began gathering educational resources which targeted motion graphics.  Fortunately there are a lot of resources out there, but a lot of the classes were too expensive or below my skill level.  I went to college to study animation so I hope I’ve already learned the basic principles!

Eventually I came across “Cinema 4D Journey,” distributed through Motion Design School.  It’s designed for beginner to intermediate artists who want to learn the core aspects of Cinema 4D.  That’s me!

At the time of purchase the class was 50% off, so I feel like I got a really great deal.

I’ve talked about 3D art being something I’ve neglected in the past.  Discovering Cinema 4D has eliminated all of my negative feelings about 3D and now I’m making so much 3D art!  I’m very excited to see what more I will learn in the coming lessons.  In particular I am looking forward to learning about physics simulations.
